We asked Shantell to explore the Whitney's Collection of over 30,000 works by more than 3,600 artists created between the nineteenth and twenty-first centuries to find works that spoke to her about the concept of line. Works were chosen by artists with very recognizable names such as Warhol and Ono, Holzer and Calder; as well as lesser-known names such as Marisol, Sage, and Diamond.
