Light-reflecting sticker featuring a stylized “L.A.” graphic inspired by the cover of the Getty Graffiti Black Book (LA Liber Amicorum) held in the Getty’s collection.   The elegant L.A. logo was designed and rendered by Prime, a founding father of stylized street-lettering unique to the City of Angels. Born Jose Reza in L.A.’s Pico-Union district, Prime’s early geometric ‘calligraffiti’ was known locally as Cholo script and soon became associated with tagging one’s turf.
