Hannah nail polishes were created in collaboration with LACMA & sampled from details found within the 1671 painting Flowers in a Glass Vase by Dirck de Bray.The shades—Morning Glory (a painterly azure) & Hollyhock (a blushy, sun-ripe apricot)—nod to de Bray’s depiction of “ordinary” late summer blooms in the Netherlands (which coincidentally are also native to select parts of California).When painted, still lifes held a broader cultural meaning, speaking to the act of choosing to preserve…
