This handsome T-bar necklace features bi-tone imitation rhodium and 14K gold plate in a shiny gold finish. It was inspired by a parure, or matching set (Greek, Late Hellenistic, 1st century BCE), featuring a gold and agate necklace and earrings with large cabochon garnets. Our two-tone necklace celebrates these original adornments. Jewelry played a prominent role in ancient Greek life and ritual, with pieces often passed down as family heirlooms.
