Art-inspired earrings from The Met. This pair of earrings evokes a meandering rectilinear pattern known as the Greek key, featured on a terracotta amphora from ancient Greece. Now in The Met collection, the artwork is attributed to Exekias, a 6th-century BCE potter and painter who was considered the greatest single black-figure artist of his time. Our design reimagines Exekias’s decorative design in plated gold offset by two striking blue lapis gemstones.
