This series of seven peaceful paintings by the artist Yi Zhai (Chinese; Qing dynasty, 1644–1911) depicts birds and insects with various blooms. These delicate earrings pay homage to a leaf from the album in which bees buzz around a little bird perched on a fruit-bearing branch.
