Art jewelry inspired by The Met collection. This glittering brooch nods to a pair of porcelain peacocks (ca. 1755–58) produced at the Chelsea Porcelain Manufactory (British, 1745–1784). Avian figurines were made at the factory since its inception, and they accounted for an important category of its early sculptural output.
