Porcelain wheel thrown tall mug by Sam Scott. Scott creates graphic drips and overlapping shapes by pouring black matte glaze over a white porcelain surface. Born and raised in Seattle, WA, ceramic artist Sam Scott began working with clay in high school in 1968. A graduate of the University of Washington he worked with Robert Sperry, Patti Warashina and Howard Kottler, receiving a BFA in 1975. Sold individually. Dishwasher safe.
