This richly detailed gold-plated bookmark is inspired by an illuminated manuscript in the collection of the J. Paul Getty Museum. - Solid brass, electro-plated with gold finish, featuring giclee color printing- Measures 4.5 inches L x 5/8 inch W with 5 inch silk tassel  - Item #: BKGTTY1The decoration represented on this metal bookmark is from a Renaissance illuminated manuscript attributed to Matteo da Milano (Italian, active 1492-1523). He was known for his innovative borders like this one from around 1520.
